I fired up the M6060 this afternoon, headed down the lower driveway and attempted to push the snow over the edge. To be honest, it's not working quite the way I had hoped. I'm thinking about making up an extension of some sort to add to the left side of the rear blade to give me a couple feet more reach. I think that would do the trick.

Not sure if an offset hitch or arm would work, but definitely something worth looking into.

I know I said that I wouldn't post more of the same photos, but it was so nice this morning with the sun shining and a toasty 5°F out. You can see how the snow builds up along that outer edge of the lower driveway so I'll run down with the M6060 and rear blade later today (currently on block heater) and try to push the snow over the edge without rolling the tractor!

Nothing wrong with new pictures even if they look the same. I enjoy them. Ever think of a wing or offset rear blade to send the snow down over the edge ??

Thanks!

The rear blade is a three-way hydraulic offset, tilt and angle model. With the blade swung all the way over to the left and angled to reduce how much snow piles up down the center of the driveway, I don't have enough reach to push all the snow over. It's a precarious situation because the snow makes it near impossible to see where the ground is solid vs. not, and I don't want to roll the tractor.

Perhaps I'll clamp a section of 3/4" plywood to the blade as a test run and then look into making up a bolt-on steel piece that I'd keep on the blade during the winter.

Took the plow blade off and put the snowblower on. Weather people keep changing the way the "storm" is going to be, and the latest report is not much snow and rain on top of the white stuff. That means that the plow will have to be reinstalled in the morning. I need a second tractor so I can have both the plow and the snowblower ready to go without doing any additional work.
