I modified a rear blade with a sandwiched section of horse-stall mat, which works really well on my gravel driveway.
With some snow in the FEL bucket for weight, loaded rears, and my fat butt, haven’t had the need for chains yet.

This is the same setup I use on both front and rear blade to prevent scraping up concrete and blacktop driveways I plow.

That tractor is way too light to be trying to push any substantial amount of snow to the side without it pushing the tractor around. I only use my rear blade in reverse on my LX2610 to fine tune the surface with the blower on the front. If I was to use the rear blade in the forward position, I would have to put skids on it to stop it from digging in.
"skids".....blade shoes.... are actually very effective.

I'll try to not repeat what's already been posted.

I use a dirt blade for snow. Rusty. Sits outside 365.
Early winter I spray silicone on the entire blade...front & back.

Keep blade level, right to left.

Use an aggressive angle on the blade to push it left or right. Mine is pointed to the right.

Use a short top link.

Take smaller bites.

I have an old rusty back blade that had a metal cutting blade on one edge and two holes already drilled on the opposite edge.

I purchased a 6" x 72" x 1" piece of UHMD plastic from good works tractor and flipped the blade over, drilled a few extra holes and mounted the UHMD to the empty edge. This stuff is billed as "as tough as steel but gentle like rubber".

I have been playing with the top angle but it works good and I feel better that I am less likely to damage the cement. I also have mine angled to the right.
