Hi there. new to the group and new to the tractor world. I have had a 1994 (I think) b4200 for a few years now and it has run flawlessly. Keep fuel in and no issues. However this spring while moving fill the hydraulics started to 'squeal' on me. I was done for the day anyways so kind of forgot about it until the next time I went to use it. The squeal started again. i noticed that I had bumped the 'lift' lever to the right of the seat and pulled it all the way back. It was good for a while longer then started again. I don't have a manual so started trouble shooting what I could to no avail. I was on the tractor again and it did it again yesterday and unless I hold the lift lever by hand it squeals and the hydraulics don't work. I checked the small dipstick under the seat and it had virtually no oil on it. I assume this is bad. I then checked the small plastics cap reservoir (at least I think that is what it is) on the hydraulic line to the right of the shifter and noticed it looked low as well. Also assume this is bad. I have never noticed a leak of any sort but this doesn't seem right to me. Any ideas of what I should check or add? Is the only place to add fluid to the system to the right of the shifter where the plastic cap is? Thanks in advance!
