OK I live in So Indiana i just bought a 2012 M59 form So TN. I knew it wasnt perfect. I have a reprint service manual.
Quest 1 The relay for my glow plugs is not being energized. According to the wsm the ECU checks the eng temp then tells the display to power on the glow plugs for a varied amount of time. If i unplug the display and power the wire to the realy everything down stream works as it should. Is there a way for a guy without a kubota scan tool to figure out where the failure is? the diagrams do not show a glow plug ''in'' wire to the display only bus communication lines. I can easily wire up a switch if i need to get glow plugs working is there a set time plugs should be powered up everytime or a do not exceed time? 5 seconds 10? 20? I believe Ive seen timed relays for this idea.
Quest 2 there was a missing 5amp fuse labelled key stop. If i install a fuse the tractor doesnt power off at key off. Whats the deal here?
Quest 3 I tried to start the tractor with the hydraulic valves not in the correct spots for having backhoe un-hosed and a little service indicator popped up on display once i sorted the valving so it wasnt dead heading the hydro it starts and runs normally. Easy way to clear the message?
Bonus Question easiest to install block heater thats worth doing/having? seen the freeze plug style and the in the rad hose style? Advice?
Thanks in advance for any help
