N.Y,
I ordered one of the Chinesium 30 cu ft dump boxes from Titan 2 days ago and today it arrived. Decided to sell the new RTV-X because it's slow and no fun so Decided this box will be a good replacement that I will turn into a backpack type box with a little more usability. Turned out that it's not that bad. Box is folded up and welded 14 gauge. Welding is far from perfect but I have a lot of welding planned for it and will spend some time cleaning the welds up. Dumps using a rear remote and has a sizable cylinder with decent hoses. I couldn't find much about them before buying so I decided to start a thread. Here's some pics

Nice! Are you using the BX2350 and FEL to fill the box? I have single axle and twin axle dump trailers but they only work well attached to the King Kutter receiver on the 3-point. I'd much rather pull them around on the draw bar but the tongues on the trailers aren't really long enough to do that well.

Proper draw bar trailers for tractors have long tongues. My aluminum 10ft trailer has a long tongue but no dump feature.

No, it will be filled by hand for now. Mostly things like firewood, mulch, and yard debris. Same things I use the RTV for but this can be lowered to a comfortable height for loading. Long tongues don't do well in the woods I find. I had 5x8 single axle and 6 x 10 dual axle dump trailers but sold them when I downsized to a Ford Ranger.

N.Y,
so, did it come with all that nice 'free' angle iron !!??
Needed some protection for the long trip. Almost 50 feet of angle for other projects was definitely a bonus.

N.Y,
What's the weight rating on that thing?
They say 1600 pounds but I think it must be distributed evenly. I'm thinking about 1000 pounds max for my little tractor with only a 1500 pound @ 24 inches back 3 point rating.

Why not just use your loader bucket?

Because this will have racks and mounts for my trimmers, chainsaws, and yard tools. Going to be like a heavy duty backpack type carrier with a dump so the loader bucket is still useful and not full of tools.

I just bought a single axle dump bed trailer, 5' x 10', US made, highway legal etc. Small enough to use behind my L3301 on the ranch, also small enough to tow with my hybrid RAV4 (not loads of gravel....., light but bulky stuff), I had a dump bed on a pickup, and a double axle dumper, point being I have no patience for hand unloading anymore! This tractor dumper looks handy, didn't know there was such a thing.

I really didn't know about them either. I was looking at those Big Tool Racks but they are over $3k for a basic lightweight rack with no options that looked pretty junky to me. During searching, this and others like it came up. For $1k delivered I bought this and will build my own racks. This will be much more useful for me with the power dump. Just have to buy some heavy duty casters and it came with enough extra angle in the crate for making the mods.

Please keep us posted. I am very interested how the dumper you purchased works. I almost bought one, and still might😉 if they have a big enough sale.

I built a carry all instead, but it doesn’t dump. It’s very functional but it would be nice to dump logs vs unload…I guess I could take tailgate out back up and jam on the breaks.

Then I also have a 4x8 wagon that will dump but I have not added the hydraulic cylinder yet.

I think a dumper on the 3 pt would be really handy to if it’s durable. Anyway keep us posted how it goes.

This 2 axle 5x10 works great. This is a pic from a couple years ago, I now take off ballast and use the drawbar. Using 3PH with dump trailer can get sketchy if you don’t chain down the lift arms, @mxmci taught me that 👍

Do you have any interference with the A-frame tongue and the 3-point lift arms and or rear tires when making tight turns with the trailer on the drawbar? I have that issue with my tractors unless I use the aluminum 5'x 10' trailer. My two dump trailers (5'x10' and 7'x16') are designed to be towed with a truck and typically the hitch is at the rear of the truck, well behind the rear wheels. With a tractor, the coupler and ball are much further forward on the drawbar and the wide A-frame doesn't have enough room for ideal articulation.

Notice how long the tongue is on this trailer.

Yes, you have to definitely keep a close eye and no tight turns. I wonder if there’s a drawbar extension out there? Something that would pin to two holes. I guess I could just buy another drawbar and pin it to the one that’s attached to trailer?

I have a height adjustable Demco coupler on the 16' dump trailer. I don't think it'd be difficult to weld up a rectangular extension tube that bolts to the trailer in place of the coupler, with a plate on the other end for the coupler to attach to the drawbar. I bet a 3ft extension would be more than enough. I might do this for the M6060 tomorrow since I need to move the big trailer that's currently full of firewood.

The Demco coupler on the 10' dump trailer is welded on so I'd have to be a little more creative with that one. But now that the idea is in my head, it'd be a lot cheaper making up an extension tube for the trailers compared to buying a proper tractor dump trailer.

I have seen a gooseneck adapter for the adjustable coupling that extends the tongue on a dump trailer. 3 point gooseneck hitches are easy to make.
