Ok y'all, so there I am "trail blazin" again, and I find a "big gas" pile of dirt.
It's about 10' tall and has some decent sized trees growing "in it"
The only thing I can think of is that it is the "spoils" from when they dug the crawl space, 18'ish years ago.
So I break out the On-X app to make sure it's on my property and sure enough, it is.
My backyard has some low spots so I decided to use this dirt to fill them in.
Well let me tell you there mister, my bucket was NOT doing "jack squat" in regard to digging into the pile. I would get like "3 teaspoons" of dirt per scoop, and I would have to slightly "ram it" to get even that little amount.
I first began to use Stonewall to dig and loosen it up, and that was working fine the first day, but as I was parking the General Lee, I noticed the "long forgotten" project standing in the corner.
Enter the "Ripper Tooth bar"!!!!!!
I made it a couple of years ago, just because I thought it "looked cool" and might be useful someday.
Well let me tell you whats, what.
That thing is a beast and it made a Yuge difference.
I was able to both "backscrap" and "dig" .....Bigly.
At first "back scraping" worked the best.
here is a short "video" (sorry about the shakiness, trying to do it one handed)

But I soon learned how to "raise and curl" the bucket, whilst inching forward, and that ended up working great.
I would get 'great big" scoops once I get better at it.
