Hi,
I’ve got a kubota b2400 with a transmission problem. The symptoms are the tractor has a whining sound and has a very hard time moving forward or reverse, the loader and 3pt hitch hydraulics work normal. I removed the transmission strainer and it had a good amount of shavings in the metal mesh, enough that it seemed it was an internal issue. I’ve since split the machine in half and removed the transmission. When I separated the transmission I found much more shavings laying in the bottom of the case, enough that I expected to see a bad gear or bearing but couldn’t see anything broken. Ive yet to pull apart the hst unit as I don’t want to if I don’t need to. I’m hoping someone may have had a similar problem and could give me some guidance. I’ve included a few pictures to show what I’m up against. Thanks
