Get a service manual and If you don't know the maintenance history, I'd change all fluids and all filters (Engine oil, Trans/Hyd, Air and Fuel). Also grease all the fittings. After that, just follow the maintenance schedule in the Service manual. You could also check tire pressures and wheel lugs for torque. Checking for any other loose nuts or bolts periodically isn't a bad idea as well.

If you don't know the history besides changing the oil and hyd fluid and filters I would drain, flush and refill the cooling system with fresh coolant.

Look at all your fuel lines and coolant hoses for signs of wear and or cracks.

Check your battery cables to insure they are clean and tight.

Well went down to my dealer n spoke with rich my sales guy for the past 15 yr.
He looked up all his records k wait wait he had all past service n 2 repair orders

n also ushured me the 1 owner prior was a very meticulous customer of his

so i kinda skimmed thru them n yes 50-100-150 and all way till he traded it in service and repair all done by the dealer

oh and after seeing them i decided im not havin them do mine wow very hi dollar

the 2 repairs were the left wheel beering repair and the drive line i think it said yoke or something to do with the u-joints and my god need a seperate bank acct set up just for repairs wow

anyway that my investigation report so lets start over guz shud i go ahead and change all fluids just to be safe

i do also greese all my zerts chk all my fluid levals and do basic preventative maint on a daily use schedule

there r times i dont use my kubota for 7-10 days so when i do i chk everthing

im today im focusing on a thourgh visuel inspection n tighten all and any loose bol fittin hoses btackets ect!@#$%^&*(

thank u all for the advise and any more i would appreciate

I get the impression allot of folks only see the maintenance period as "every X hours" and miss the "or, every year" for allot of items on the Kubota maintainance charts ..

i would have to agree with you as most of us know orange is not cheap

and any preventative maint will go a long way

even with all the records show after it got delivered i changed the oil n flushed the radiater
the 2 most inportant item to me
