You can kind of tell by his posture…

..Geddy got in trouble with Dad today and got a pop on the noggin. 😳

I started my little chainsaw in the garage….

Geddy charged the saw as if to bite at it!

Dad got to Geddy before Geddy got to the saw…..

Very rarely needs discipline, but needed to happen today.

He’s still a youngster that’s about to turn 2 years old, and we want to make sure he stays safe and healthy.

That’s funny. I resemble that remark myself!😳

About same timeframe, I know you guys have a new pup to get acclimated to also. Looks like all is going well.

Geddy’s been great and he’s so friggin happy all the time.

Just a little over exuberant and I don’t want him to get hurt.

LOL…honestly I was just happy they sit when I tell them too.

I would not mind if they would stop unstacking until we are ready to burn it though.
They made a hell of a mess out of the stacked wood, but they finally eliminated the squatter. I wish they would help stack the wood.

INTERLOPER!!! Must destroy!

A couple of our Boxers have had similar issues with Garter snakes. Ollie got 3 little ones in a few minutes when he was younger.

Geddy got a few last year as a youngster.

Yep. A few of my past dogs, Shepherd and Golden Retriever , would pounce on snakes like a fox, give a quick bite and fling snakes through the air, chase, and do it all over again!

I dug deep to find this old photo from a few years back. My favourite boy Keegan was an excellent hunter. Miss him every day.. brought a rabbit into the house a few times…watched him catch this crazy squirrel that ran right past a tree, turned around at a creek…which ended up to be mistakes….

Our guys have done the typical Boxer pouncing repeatedly with their front feet….all the Boxers here have done it.

After a bunch of pounding on them, the snakes have given up the ghost.

Coworker adopted their grand boxer and wondered if their dog was “special” after seeing it pound on its toy repeatedly with its front feet.

I said no, they do that. I’m sure many other breeds do as well

N.Y,
New puppy today. Lost our old girl several weeks ago and have never been without a dog before. Our local rescue Lollypopanimals.org raided a puppy mill home with 120 dogs several weeks ago. Recently got the legal right to adopt them out. Well this morning we took a ride and a puppy picked us to be part of her family. Almost 3 months old and part Border Collie. What a smart puppy . She tired herself out exploring the world and crashed hanging out of her bed.
