Yeah, it should, except that one of the loose ball bearings or, the other gears, put a few dents in the end of the shaft. Thought I should mention that the groove for the snap ring is fine, despite how bad it looks. I pulled the snap ring before this picture.

I found no oil in the other gear case or front differential. I will keep an eye out for leaks, buy no wonder the bearings failed
