What I find funny is, I know a guy that works on a lot of government fleets, city to federal, he’s worked on more deleted gov vehicles then hybrid/full electric vehicles

When the post office is 100% electric I’ll think about it

I used to work in one of those 3 letter worlds. I won't say "all" , but damn near all of the vehicles had 0 emissions controls. Too much to go wrong. Definitely don't want to be stranded in thirdworldistan because your transport has a CEL for regen. Or bank 1 sensor 1 doesn't read a Earth friendly mixture.
If you work for Ford, you probably know the part numbers for a fully factory deleted 6.7 Powerstroke PCM/ ECM/ TCM. Can't get them shipped here unless it's a government vehicle.

WHY can‘t we just ALL AGREE….that we don’t want our tax dollars wasted buying and maintaining defective emissions equip‘’t…. and when I call EMS or any other gov’t agency because I Need Them…I want them to Show Up without any DEF-Issues! ‘

hmm, maybe the state should mandate a yearly 'safety inspection' of ALL boats using the waters of California, Kinda like a car safety that you need to get your 'tag'. Any not in compliance during thesafety, get towed to a dock and shut down until 'necessary repairs' are done and pass inspection.

Big or small, ALL vessels MUST be inspected, NO exceptions.

I had a 2012 Ford SD F250 with the 6.7 diesel. Loved it, lots of power.

Until it left me stranded. Twice. Sensors went out, twice. Dash says "Pull Over and Park". At 3 mph it shuts off. Then it's Dead. Off. No Start. Dash says 'Contact your dealership".

Called a flatbed tow. Dealer replaced exhaust sensors under warranty.

WTF is a warranty fix if the truck leaves you stranded? People might die if I can't drive the truck!

I bought a Gas 3/4 ton after I dumped that diesel POS. NEVER BEEN HAPPIER.

I'm convinced that the Gov would rather kill you than let you have a bad exhaust sensor.
