Thought I would take a minute and share how good these Kubota tractors are. I have put more than 2100 hrs on my tractor. The old timers on here will know I am a retired heavy eqiupment operator and to share with the new people on this site. Bought my tractor new in spring of 2015 with loader and 60"mmm. I average 250hrs a year doing all the task on my property from mowing, brush hogging, rototilling, grading, and snow removal. Implements I added are FDR 1672 rear finish mower, BB1572 box scraper, RTR 1266 rototiller, 72" landscape rake, 48" pallet forks, and Bush Hog Squealer 60" brush hog. Some of these implements per spec might be over sized for the tractor, and would not recommend for inexperienced tractor owners, but the tractor handles all of the great or I would have replaced it. I always buy service manual with any equipment I buy. It came in handy to track down the only porblem I have had with this tractor in all of these hrs. The neutral safety switch went bad and was able to trace the problem down. Replaced switch and has been fine ever since. The mods I did to enhance the use of the tractor are, 3 bucket hooks on the loader bucket, install a bolt on cutting edge on the loader bucket to strenghten it and allow replacement when it wears out, fab up a tool box for chains and straps, install LED lights front and rear for snow plowing at night, rear view mirror for roading tractor, and the best one of all is top and tilt for hooking up and using implents. Absolutely would not have tractor with out it. I actually did the top and tilt my self buying double spool valves and both cylinders from Surlus Center. Fabbed up brackets and mounted valves and cylinders and loaded up tractor and hauled out to my Kubota dealer who I actually helped for couple seasons, to measure and get all the hydraulic hoses made up. Really handy for hooking up implements, and angling box blade front to back and tilt left and right. Can actuall run it similiar to a bulldozer. Another handy thing with brush hog on is to tilt back of brush hog up to back up over big briar bushes and set down on them to chew them up. I do follow all of the maintence procedures always using Kubota fluids and filters with no problems at all. In summary could not be happier with my choice, Tractor had been flawless and does more than I thought for its size. Some how couple years ago all of my pics from all my posts got deleted which was really dissapointing as it is alot of work to do. I will post a couple of pics after this post.

Beautiful machine. Looks better than new. Those aux lights don't do much for the package.
Understand about the lights but I had to do them due to the fact I cant get tractor into my garage with rops up.

2100 hours? Wow, it looks new. Nice job keeping it clean. I like the custom 3 point hydraulic work you’ve done.

Too bad about the ROPS. Maybe you could use the safety aspect as a selling point (presuming you have someone that shares the finances with you) for your dedicated tractor barn? If it just you, heck you’re worth, build a barn with a nice tall door opening.

I have a nice heated shop for all my toys and thought about adding another bay with a higher door, but at my age I decided against it. Decided to live with what I got and am happy to have it!

Well you must be doing something right. You’re still alive. Stick with it.

That's quite a job with the hydraulic valve. That thing is tucked in there and laying those hoses out had to be a task! Nice.

It was a task for sure. It is amazing how fast an area fills up with brackets, valves, and hoses and not interfere with something else. Was some trial and error for sure!

As tight as those disconnects are and the surrounding hardware, how difficult is it to get hoses connected and disconnected?

No problem at all. I was concerned about it and would have put some fittings on 2 of them to make room if needed. I forgot to mention when I did the valves I ran hoses up front for grapple or angle blade with quick couplers and would tie into one of the spool valves when I need to use it. Was always going to get a grapple but never had enough use for one so I have never used the front hook up.

Nice job running the 3rd function lines of the FEL and the what I presume are custom made mounts. Cleaner that any dealer added set up I’ve seen Kubota provide.

I might totally steal those levers for your rear remotes!
Steal away I made them out of 1/8" steel. I forget where I found the vinyl covers for them but they fit perfect over the 1" wide levers I made. They work really well.

They are the same bracket you see under the floor pan. They were too wide so I welded a stud to the loader arm and repainted area and just use the top half of the mount.
