B2400 popping out of 4x4

B2400 popping out of and will not stay engaged in 4x4 also still grinding noise in high range

Any ideas????? Losing my mind

Worn 4WD coupling (this is a female, sliding coupler on the drive-shaft between the trans and front axle..)….. OR…Worn or Mal-adjusted linkage between the 4WD selector knob/lever and the coupling.

Just seems weird that it didn't do it before we split tractor to change a seal like it will barely engage in 4x4 u have to hold the lever and will shake the shit out of ur arm

Well….splitting the tractor may also have changed the clearance/engagement of tha coupler and may be contributing to the new problem.

Ya my stupid ass when I put it back together I figured I had the yoke for the front drive shaft on all. The way the hole for the roll.pin was good roll pin went in and was working but had a noise n vibration right from the start so needless to say I'm a dummy and now we need a new yoke....
