I presently have a BX2822 55" wide snowblower, a heavy-duty gear-driven unit. This summer I picked up a V5296 66" wide snowblower used on a Kubota RTV1120D. I have checked the gearing and they are both the same, and the only difference is the width of the snowblower and the K connect. I compared the K connect on my BX2822 and it is the same as the V5296 and it will bolt in at the correct holes at the bottom, and I will need to drill a new bolt hole to secure it to the snowblower. The V5296 blower has a Shipping weight of 340 lb. and the BX2822 shows as weighing 452 lbs. I believe that the shipping weight of the V5296 is incorrect and should be 540 lbs. Do you think that my idea will work or will it be too much for the BX23S to handle? If not, I have myself a 500-pound boat anchor.
