Ran across this by accident - watched the entire thing, guy does a great job of explaining how and why that $$$ thing works.

Passive regen vs active, despite being in a truck - it works the same for a tractor.

It's not important. Mine doesn't even have one. Fwiw, many govt vehicles don't either.

This is a good video and the importance of a quality synthetic engine oil is mentioned. One that produces little in the way of ash. I do wish that neither of my tractors had the DPF system but there it is.

I have quite a lot of Banks products on/in my truck and Jeep. I went with DP-Tuner when it was time to add a chip and programmer to the F250. I have a Banks system from the turbo back with no DPF or DEF, but if I ever get a newer truck (I've seen a couple of beauties on Craigslist) I would look at Banks for sure.
