It is A + B x C, multiplication is done before addition. Order of operations.29 If the symbols are A + B + C = 29
If the last line is + + x then the answer is 100
And us old folks make fun of the younger generation's lack of math skills. Even my cheap Android phone got it right.I'm lost. Too many years ago when I went to a one room school house and a 3 room college.

My android phone got it right too but not the MS calculator in Windows....And us old folks make fun of the younger generation's lack of math skills. Even my cheap Android phone got it right.
More than once we had calculations on napkins between chicken wing stains. The world would have been a much better place if we stopped the beers and remembered all the great thoughts the next day.
It's all fun and games until you're manually pulling the string from a honey ham out of a dogs a-hole.We had a jack russle terrier that would eat our daughters underwear
Wife couldn't figure out where they were disappearing too.
I told her to go out back and look for the flags
My wife wasn't happy
Nope, @OntheRidge is correct. Addition would only be done first if grouped (in parentheses or braces). With no grouping, multiplication and division (inverse multiplication) are ALWAYS done first. Correct answer is 55.Only if written

If you press Enter between operations, the Windows calculator will assume you are grouping the addition and then multiplying the result. If have it set up right, it’ll show you how it’s solving what you type. If it makes an error, then the input is flawed. My android phone got it right too but not the MS calculator in Windows....
If I switch the MS calculator to the "Scientific" mode and try the calculation, the total is correct. If you press Enter between operations, the Windows calculator will assume you are grouping the addition and then multiplying the result. If have it set up right, it’ll show you how it’s solving what you type. If it makes an error, then the input is flawed.
