I think it's already approved. It's probably Exactly what they use. Everywhere North of the equator.
I would be willing to bet that in the USA the FAA does not authorize the use of "RV" anti-freeze.
FAA APPROVED deicing fluids are designated Types I, II, III, and IV.
They are all somewhat different, are usually applied hot, and have different 'holdover times"
They are specifically manufactured for aircraft use, with surfactant, corrosion inhibitors, and UV sensitive dye.
The use of "RV" antifreeze could be a potentially hazardous "Rube Goldberg" solution to aircraft deicing.
"Rube Goldberg" problem solving may be suitable for non flying issues, but is not acceptable when flight safety is involved.
I have personally experienced the benefit of tens of thousands of gallons of FAA approved deicing fluid, over 30,000 hours, and 39 years.
