I have a BX2660 and BX2680 that require regular service. In changing the old and filter I have become frustrated with the oil filter wrenches I have. I tried a band wrench that works if I pull the shroud off and remove the sensor wire next to the filter, and I tried a strap wrap wrench. Neither worked as I would like. I was searching for a socket wrench to fit the filter which has 15 flutes and is somewhat odd. In searching the NAPA website I found an adjustable tool that fits the end of filters and is driven with 3/8" square as in a ratchet. I saw 2 sizes and ordered both. I got the smaller one, Carlyle part number 63600 first and tried it. It worked well for what I was doing. 1 BX2660 without removing the side panels, 1 Honda 5518, 1 JD 2032R, and a JD xuv835R Gator. I am pleased at finding it and thought maybe someone else could benefit. Oil Filter Wrenches SER 63600 | Buy Online - NAPA Auto Parts (napaonline.com) I have included a link for reference. The larger one is part number 63250. These appear to be manufactured by Lisle. A search using the part number yields other suppliers.
