What is up with "Demo Video"?

Every thread I click on brings up something called "Demo Video", an ocean sunset scene that never loads, just shows a spinning wheel. It probably came up 25 -30 times this morning. I used the back arrow and sometimes it goes away, other times it came back 3 or 4 times in a row.
Really irritating!

Haven't seen the "demo video" thing but probably about 2-3 months ago I get an annoying popup on the bottom of every page I am on, blocking a portion of the page. Doesn't matter which device I am on.

That and all the other spams along the sides of the pages.

If it weren't for you guys, I would've dropped this site a long time ago like a hot tamale !

Running Duck Duck Go, I don’t see any of that. Tried a variety of browsers previously and DDG was the only one that runs the site consistently well enough to be usable.

Edit: BTW, I see no ads at all ever. It’s nice…

You tube just started requiring you allow adds, it would block you if your add blocker was activated. I need to find another platform to peruse

I found youtube says Ad blockers are not allowed, but I simply close that. Haven't had an issue. Yet.

I only use my phone, but if I use safari (rarely anymore because of previous issues with site loading/refreshing) I get ads, I usually use brave and don’t get any ads.

What kind of tablet? Generally on a IPad you push two buttons at the same time home and off on older tablets

It's a TCL android, running Google Chrome.

It was free with phones.
