In summary, they're generally all good. The one exception is the B3150, especially if you're in a cold climate. Hence the lack of useful engagement on the thread - there's not much to say.
However, if you indicated what tasks you might be doing and what you want to spend, we could probably recommend which models might be best.
Given you say under 40hp, that means probably you're looking L, the older big B (so actually B3150), or LX (which is probably too new for you). Rule of thumb is L2501 if you don't like emissions controls, a bigger L otherwise. And if you like a bit more luxury, the grand L is excellent, albeit more expensive. If you can stretch to an MX that's even better, but they're probably a bit pricy and they're outside the 40hp cap.
The big B (B2650) or LX (LX2610) is a great machine, but unless you need the mid-PTO, the cab, or are weight limited you're probably better with the L2501.
