My experience is lumited to B series tractors but I would bet the old bearings are Koyo. The Kubota price for standard ball bearings is usually pretty competitive. What bearings does everyone use when they put new bearings into the spindles.
I would think those are ordinary deep groove ball bearings. Koyo is readily available from sources other than Kubota. What size are the bearings- e.g 6305, 6405. etc? Why pay more for sealed bearings? I am not sure exactly what deck you have but a quick check suggests Kubota wants about $12 for RCK60 spindle bearings. Why I ask is because this is the second set this summer that are failing and getting noisy. I bought NTN from local parts supplier (of course removed the rubber seals before installing) the new ones I put in were quite for 20 hrs but now have become noisy. Yes I do grease them. I do believe the oem where KOYO . Looks like I'll have to spend close to triple the cost for kubota ones. This is why I'm asking .
6205 is a very common size medium duty ball bearing. I buy the Koyo 2RS variant by the dozen from MRO Supply. They drop ship direct (and free) from Koyo America warehouse in Memphis. Current price is $14 each. All these decks use the same ball bearing to support the spindles.
It's a stock bearing, a "6205".
Thinking about putting some Timkens on the shelf for next time...
