I want Hard Copies of both the SMs & PMs for the Tractor, the Loader, and the Backhoe.

My dealer is telling me the PMs are not available. I'm trying to find a source.

Messicks has the Shop Manual for the TLB, although I'm only seeing a PM for the tractor.

Anyone?

I personally would just stick with the online parts diagrams at messicks (or other dealers or Kubota site). Parts can change or be updated over time and the online manuals would (should) have the most up to date numbers where as a hard copy wouldn’t be updated.

Unless you are pretty rough with the new tractor, chances of needing anything besides routine maintenance parts for a while would likely be pretty low.

Makes complete sense, although addendum aside, I like to have a hard copy of all SMs and PMs in my shop, for physical reference, and to avoid relying solely on a SmartPhone in my pocket. I'm investing in my equipment for the long haul, and plan ahead for the future needs.

Any updates or changes in parts will be found online prior to ordering.

Why not just print out what you want from a PDF copy and have it in your shop? Soil it or destroy it and you print out another one.

It makes sense to me…

I don't disagree. Where applicable, I will do just that as the need arises. On another note, my not going through the headaches to print (and likely ruin) the SMs/PMs, the hard copies are professionally prepared as reading materials.

I did what you're suggesting with my previous JD. While it works, it is not as convenient as a hard copy on the shelf.

I do what Henro says....printout what I need, as required.
It'd really be nice to get a REAL GOOD copy of the wiring diagram for my BX23S though. Have downloaded several WSMs and all have LOUSY diagrams. Normally you can zoom a PDF several times and it still be very, very readable. Sadly NOT so ....

Which is why the Hard Copies are the better way. What's downloadable from the internet (most times) is not legible. They are generally copies of copies.

When a PDF is created, usually the pixel per inch is HIGH QUALITY (660ppi) and the level of detail is VERY adjustable for zooming in. They are also a VERY LARGE file size digitally.

To decrease the overall size of the PDF, for the web, a lesser pixel per inch (level of detail) is chosen. At that time, when you want to zoom into specifics, that detail is no longer there. IOW, free is not necessarily good. As you have found.

The level of detail when books are created, are a result of high quality format. When they are not copied at the same quality standards, the detail diminishes.

I think your a little confused as all newer Kubota manuals are created in digital format and then printed, so a PDF from Kubota will have the same info in the same quality if not better than a printed manual.
Kubota does not produce a hard copy of the parts manuals any longer, so your out of luck there.

I realize the manual is created in digital form before print. What level of PPI it is available to be printed in, denotes the LOD (Level Of Detail) of drawings printed. At the end, the quality of paper and the type of printer it is printed out with, also makes a difference.

Online is a better source for details.

*The PMs in Hard Copy being NLA is discouraging. Not a deal breaker. I will adapt. Thanks for that info.

I despise typing on a forum in a 3x5 screen. Grrr🫤 😂

I'm old school, and very much enjoy my desktop. It's when the relaxing me, grabs the smartphone and kicks back on the couch when I have issues with the small screen. Not issues seeing the screen, but issues seeing enough of the screen to make it enjoyable!!!

Fricking things anyway...lol.
