In my limited time tractoring, I have learned one important lesson in 3 Pt. attachments....beware the pins! The 1st BB I had was a cheapie for sure. And it showed. The pins look like the ones in this photo. Open on one side.
The issue is, after a while, they can bend. Or, they can bend the tabs they are mounted on. I gave it hell breaking up the dirt for the loop driveway, but I didn't think I was that hard on it. When one side bent, it was a literal PITA to get off!
On to the LP BB. Much better results with this one. The boxed/ captive pins are much more stout and have held up to some abuse. I've moved dirt, busted up red clay and even graded some larger stone sub base.
Just as a disclaimer: neither of these brands is what I had, or have now. They are just an example of the style of pins for the arms.
