BH77 mounting

I have a BH77 backhoe on my LX2610 and I noticed that when the backhoe is installed it does not fit within the mounts like I think it should. Can you post your pictures and comment(even if you think I'm an idiot).

Normal, you use the boom on the ground to place upward(lifting pressure), and the pins will slide right in.

Though I am sure that the pin diameter is correct, why so much side to side slop?
Are there supposed to be spacers in there?

Mine has about the same amount of slop. No spacers that I am aware of.

Maybe an "AK-47" approach, whereas a little slop is a good thing?

Yes, the pin diameter is correct(after some paint wore down) it is the side to side that I am concerned about. The reinforced C-shaped metal hardly touches to the mount on one side. Just wondering if others BH77 are like this or do I have an issue? Or is it because I have a cab(therefore have the extension with a seat)?

The other two mounts (pictured) it uses seem take care of any side to side movement.

As an aside, I also have dedicated BH seat.

I think your fine.

It appears to me that since the pin goes through 2 "ears" on either side of the BH ear, the "C" shaped thing appears to be just an "stop guide."

The ears and pin take all the stress.

I certainly do not understand the why of that design........poor fit?

The side to side is normal. It is so you can be a little crooked when hooking up. The cab spacers need to be loostened the first time so when it sits in the lower pins, and the upper are installed it sits even. Then tighten the cab spacers. Its just like assembling the loader mounts with the front end lifted before fully tightening them.
