Kubota Tractor B7200HST-D hydraulic oil leaking into the crankcase/oil pan

I own a Kubota Tractor B7200HST-D. I have hydraulic oil leaking into the crankcase/oil pan. When I removed the pump to replace it, I noticed damage to the gear that connects to the drive gear in the engine block. When I replace the pump, I will replace the damaged pump gear. However, the drive gear in the engine is also damaged. I believe I need to replace the drive gear in the engine. I have searched everywhere, but cannot find the part number for the drive gear.

1. Can anyone help me with the part number?

2. How do I get the old gear out and the new one in?

Well there is a small issue with what your asking, the B7200HST-D never had a gear driven pump, so someone has swapped some parts or swapped the entire motor.
Need more info and pic's if possible.

The most likely is that it has a B8200 set up in it, but that's a pure guess at this point.

You will need to provide the stamped serial number that is just to the side on the flat of the block next to the injection pump and the tractors full serial number to try and unravel what motor and tractor we are dealing with.

If I remember correctly the pump on the B7200 that I had, had a male rectangular piece that slipped into a female slot on the end of the injector shaft.

I believe I may have used some wrong terminology in my descriptions in calling the flat end of drive mechanism a gear. I have attached a document that shows what I’m working with. I have owned this tractor for over 10 years and there is no doubt that what I have is a Kubota B7200HST-D Tractor. And I could really use some help. If you still feel that I have something other than a B7200HST-D Tractor I will listen.

I sent a file to you last night. Did you receive it? The Diagrams above indicates the situation I 'm in. I have the pump in your first diagram on order. I have my fingers crossed that it is the correct pump. My discussions with the vendor confirms all the critical dimensions are correct. The second diagram highlighted area is a fuel camshaft (Item 110.) Will that section (camshaft) need to be replaced, and what is involved in replacing it?

Thatvis a tang drive shaft not a gear. If that tang will mesh with the new oppump clean it up and move on. Worry anout it when the pump stops working.

At this point, that's the best recommendation I've had.

Hi Ed,
I tend to agree with Old Hokie, if it meshes and turns the pump it will likely work for a long time.
I had the same leak this spring and just replaced the pump seal.
As you say mine was rectangular but yours looks quite symmetrical so perhaps the design was changed?

That looks a lot like a vane pump.
