My L3800 has two grease fittings on the front axle. The one in front of the axle is in the manual. It is the front axle support and requires the removal of the breather plug. On the back side of the axle is another fitting where the shaft connects to the axle. This fitting is not shown in the manual. I can never get this fitting it fill with grease. I stopped after putting about a 1/4 of a tube into it today. Should I be seeing it exit somewhere? FWIW, I noticed the axel is marked L3300. Any info appreciated.

Don’t fill the rear zerk. It voids into the housing. I’m don’t recall for sure, but there might be a seal somewhere in there that might get dislodged if too much grease is pumped in. I’m sure someone will let us know on that front. Just a couple pumps is fine. There was a thread on here recently about this. I just greased those zerks on my L recently as a result of that discussion.

Yea all you've done is turn the propeller shaft cover into a tube of grease.
You're lucky that model doesn't blow a seal when you over grease it.

I've never noticed this grease zerk before.........So does it require greasing? If so how much?

I recently greased my L at the pivot and I removed the plug and put grease in the zert until new clean grease was coming out the other side. What was in there looked neglected!! I need to be more aware of that fitting.

Front: Pull plug on other side, grease until new grease comes out plug port.
Rear: Two pumps of grease will more than do it.
