My retirement income is not as regular and dependable as needed, so, I went out and got a part time job. 27 Hours, 3 days. Not bad.
One thing I can say is that going through a job interview at 72 years of age is VERY different than when I was 32!
Interviewer: Are you able to lift 40 lbs?
Me: All at once?
Interviewer: What do you want to be in 5 years?
Me: Able to sit up and take nourishment.
Interviewer: Why do you want to come to work for our company?
Me: Tired of sitting home all day and it will help me pay my deductibles.
Interviewer: Tell me about a time you failed.
Me: I didn’t save enough for retirement so now I’m looking for a job.
Interviewer: How would your coworkers describe you?
Me: The old guy.
Interviewer: What do you like to do in your spare time?
Me: Nap in my recliner.
Interviewer: What is your greatest strength?
Me: Ability to stand up quickly without getting dizzy.
Interviewer: Tell me about a conflict you resolved.
Me: Does divorce count?
Interviewer: Tell me about yourself.
Me: You didn’t read my resume?
Interviewer: What motivates you?
Me: Viagra
Interviewer: What did you like the least about your last position?
Me: Going to it.
