As I understand it, I should add grease to all the grease points on the FEL until I see grease seeping out the sides, correct?

But how about the tie rods? I'm worried that I might have tried to jam too much grease into one of the tie rod ends - I guess those grease points don't seep?

If that's all correct so far, then concerning tie rods:

- how do you know how much grease a tie rod needs?
- can I get some grease out if I think I might have jammed too much in?

Grease it until the boot starts to swell up. It should have a relief in the side of the boot too, in case you pump too much in.

edit: you are correct on the loader pins too

I don't think you should worry about them as grease is "good" It will work itself to equibrium. The only one I heard you can overdo is @ the front axle underneath. As I understood it, you can overshoot, but it just fills the cavity... RE the loader, keep it greased regularly (I approximate the 10 hrs) and you are fine.

Just don't get people started by asking what brand to use! :p

I was concerned about mine when new as there were reports of some being delivered w/ some points missed. (either by factory or dealer prep). I actually found one zerk painted over/closed on my BH!
