Finished up the "Project Wasteland" this afternoon. 20 yards of enriched soil, 100 lbs of seed and 7 bales of straw later, I will pray for rain as well as health and happiness. I "tilled" the dirt with a box blade, then spread the topsoil and went over it again. Smoothed it all down by back dragging. Then spread seed and straw.
Didn't get a photo, but the EA grapple was perfect for hauling the hay bales. Fit em all in its mouth. I closed the jaws a bit too tight and busted the twine holding two of them together. When I let them go, straw went everywhere! 😆

Yes, very nice! (y)

I assume you have a Wicked 55? Ted said that you can buy the upgraded plates (DIY weld job) for the Wicked 55 that are now shipping as standard on new grapples. I'm going to call EA tomorrow and see if (A) they plan on making them for the Wicked 60, and (B) if I can buy them. I could make them out of the plate I have laying around but it's not Hardox 450.

I had seen that upgrade in another thread (I believe you posted it). Sounds like an awesome addition and very cool of EA to offer it as an add on. I have the 54" dual lid which has the serrations between the tines of each lid. Really helpful when dragging logs out by the end.

I almost tipped mine over today lifting something up. My rigging didn’t balance the weight. Slowly raised the bucket…instantly stated to roll forward and to the left…my son was amazed at my rare cat-like reflexes. I hit the correct lever and threw it in the correct direction, all within a nanosecond! A silent victory.

Did a similar thing a while back. Admit I have hooked to the blade and forgot about my stand…..:):)

VERY NICE!!!!
I was, going to do that exact same idea. But i was concerned about the stitch welds in that plate cracking if i ever forgot to pull the stand up before driving away with the tractor. My luck, i would break it.

LOL, yeah that`s my same fear, forgetting to pull the stand up before moving the tractor:eek:

Before / after of driveway entrance. Bucket and fork got a workout with all the dirt, stone, gravel fill, & mulch moving!

OK that's pretty darn slick. I like it.

The reason they don't "come with them" is that Tarter Gate would have to charge TSC more, and TSC would then have to increase their retail price.
TSC wants to sell implements at the lowest price possible, and that requirement has obvious consequences for the buyer.

That's not mud, that's liquid sand!

We haven't been able to rock the driveway because we needed to get rid of a doublewide trailer and level the pad that it was sitting on.

Like many in northeast, blew a little snow. Forecast was 12-18. Guessing about 5.

Not complaining one bit. March 14, 2017(?), forecast was 12-18, and we got 34…..😳😳😳

Might still get a little more, but just an inch or two.

RC, you are probably less than an hour straight east of me. Unbelievable what the difference is. We`ve got maybe an inch or so, but the winds are horrendous over here between Seneca & Cayuga lake in Schuyler county.

Nonetheless, we both lucked out with this storm! I`m not even going to get our BX23s out.

looks like some chainsaw work along with the snow blower work will be in order before morning (medical procedure at 7:30 am)
Birch for the fire pit!
A pole saw would be a big help with that job. I wish I had bought mine years a go.

I checked out my snow and about 5-6 inches but the driveway has about an inch of slush under it so I am going to wait it out. If there is a lot more i will try to push it around tomorrow. Just wish it was froze underneath.

Sure it will just stick to the blade and not roll!
