What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Cleaned up from the storm with the rear blade. We only got around 6 inches of wet snow. Parts of the driveway were clear others not so much. All considered we got lucky on this one. Lights flickered a few times but we never lost power.

If anyone is interested in a parts list to my kickstand build for my rear 3pt 6` blade, here you go.
I have added a galvanized 3/4in top cap on the top (that was not in the picture)
Adding the cap will keep the pipe from falling thru the mount flange.
If i missed something, let me know, i`ll post it.

Hopefully this will help some folks out here looking for a simple kickstand idea.

I am partial to these "push to release" pins because they don't come loose unless you want them to by pushing the center pin. I know that they are available from Zoro and other sources.

Finally had the air ride seat installed and picked up the rear blade for light ditching, driveway stone work and snow removal. I have the camo seat cover for the factory suspension seat - I’ll give it to anyone that can use it.

Push a bit of snow from another "Storm of the century" that didn't amount to much of anything. No frost so I had to skim the driveway so all of my gravel didn't end up on my lawn.

Finally had the air ride seat installed and picked up the rear blade for light ditching, driveway stone work and snow removal. I have the camo seat cover for the factory suspension seat - I’ll give it to anyone that can use it.

Spring is coming. Will need mulch, compost, gravel, top soil, etc.

Since I don't have a dump trailer, I built an off loading ramp for my utility trailer. Used the BH to dig a trench and dropped two 18' trees in, stacked. Dug out the backside about 12' wide so I can just back my loaded trailer up to it so it's level. Can just drive my tractor onto the back of the trailer and off load with bucket. Or, that's the plan, at least. Not tried it yet.

Had a buddy give me a load of creek gravel for a base for the trailer tires. Had to get crafty to unload the gravel. (-;

Yes, thought of that. I measured and should be fine. Hard to tell in the pic, but it is also slightly angled so I won't have to back the tractor straight out and against the garage. Will know for sure soon enough.

Spent last 2 days dealing with 30” of heavy wet snow. Snowblowed 2x Tuesday. Power went out around 11am. Hooked up the 12kw PTO generator to the tractor and ran it until 8:30pm when power came back on. Only burned 3-1/2 gallons diesel. Yesterday proceeded to dig everything out including one of my neighbors who is on crutches after ripping the tendon over his knee earlier this winter. Snow became so sticky as the day went on that it would plow ahead instead of feeding into the blower. So I swapped to the loader and used the bucket instead.

So.....I am officially sick of winter and as enjoyable as clearing snow is with my blower and blade on the B2601..... we just got hammered with 38" in NH on top of 18" last week and frankly after 10hrs on the tractor in 2 days I need a break......

Finally broke a shear bolt late yesterday after getting 80% done with a neighbors drive as their plow guy stopped me and asked for a favor as he was afraid he couldn't move it as it was downhill and the full 38"......I cleared most of it then hit a downed limb. Whatever, I needed something to stop me and tell me to go inside. I'll fix it today, maybe.

Downed trees everywhere, been on generator since 6am Tuesday morning......might be another 2-3 days on that.

Spent 45 mins trying to find my mailbox under a downed limb stuck in a snowbank.

2nd to last picture is a pic of my 4' dog fence......good luck seeing it......

Bent my damn roof rake as well......so I need to solve that today while pretending to care about the 7 meetings I have today for work. Heck of a week.
