Well that was very enlightening

You have Both a engine and Rear end / HST issue going on!

You need a competent mechanic to work on it!

The engine has all sorts of issues that I can hear and see.

I can't find much info on-line about your tractor. But the first thing I'd figure out is why there's no correlation between the throttle position and engine speed. Looking at the parts diagram, I see a cable between the lever and the.engine. I suspect it is frozen and needs cleaning/freeing up/lubrication . Get that working and then see what happens.

BTW, what does the manual say about starting procedure? Most I've seen say start at half throttle or so and I noticed your at full idle setting. The idle setting seems awfully low, but this may correct when you fix the linkage issue.

So sorry to hear that you are having these problems!! Sounds like a fueling issue of some sort either from the tank, lift pump or injection pump, possibly even governor?? And then there is the hydrostatic pump, not even sure where to start there??

Hope you manage to find someone competent to work on this one!! These tractors are not even all that complicated, pre tier 4..

Tank has been cleaned, fuel pressure checked at lift pump, injection pump pulled and recalibrated, injectors replaced, brand new turbo.

Hard to explain completely:
It's the way is cranking and firing is just off.
Then the idle is wrong,
The throttle response makes me think they left off a spring in the setup at a min, the issue could be much deeper.
The clutch has way too much movement before engagement and disengagement.
The hydro definitely sounds very labored in every situation you put it in.
Some of these issues could be complicated / exasperated by issues with the engine.

I wish you were closer I would work on it for free just to see and fix everything!

Please quit running it, it's got problems and running it is just possibly going to make them worse!
Find a competent mechanic to work on it.

You pay the shipping and I'll fix it for free!
It's sad you have been taken on a money sucking ride with this tractor.

And yes this is a serious offer!

I'm guessing you are in Idaho? Just curious, what is your background?
A ton of tractor / equipment repairs over many years.
I normally specialize in older GST Kubota's.
I work on tractors and equipment for enjoyment, my full time job I own several companies doing all sorts of construction.
I've worked on quite a few members tractors on here, have yet to have one I couldn't fix.

My bobcat has been refitted with virtually the same engine that you have in your tractor I can go out when it's -20f hit the key and within 5 seconds it will fire up and run, and any throttle movement the RPM instantly go up or down, there should not be that lag.
