S-G-R, Did you have the recall done on the fuel system? I have not, my dealer has not been in this area. I am almost two hours away and I do not have a trailer.
I haven't had any recalls done. Picked it up April 2022. Is your machine older or newer?

As for cold weather lx3310 -- with the block heater plugged in I have started without a problem -10F several times. As for maintaining temps - when that cold and running snowblower at 2500rpm temp stays middle. If running more like 2000 rpm for other stuff, I use the magnet grill covers that are sold on this site. On a -5 day with the covers on, it was actually running hot. So, in short - I have not had winter problems with mine in very Northern MN.

As for news a LX4010 is on the the horizon - that pains me - the lx33 is on the bottom edge of my needs, but needed mid-pto and didn't have the budget for the L60 series. It always happens - the product you really needed is avaiable a two years later.

"I am almost two hours away and I do not have a trailer" = mistake #1 !

Owning a trailer is almost like having a savings account.
Well maintained trailers loose little or no value.

My 14K trailer (stored inside) is currently worth at least 20-25% more than I paid for it 6 years ago.
I really should sell it, but with a nearly 9,000 lb. machine, and nearest dealer 75 miles away I keep hanging on - just in case.

I think I'd look long and hard at a L40/4760 before I'd trade my 3310 in for a LX4020.

And now all my implements (snowblower, flail mower, etc) are sized for LX width, so won't be trading in for wider chasis. But it has worked great. There have been a few times I wished I had more FEL lift capacity but all in all I have loved it.

I hear you and agree with you Fried, my wife doesn’t see it how you and I do though, lol
