Yes, he must mean 47XX, because I can find no info on a 48XX.The OP post references the Kubota l4802.
Neil, makes No reference at 9:40 or elsewhere, to an L4802 in the video!
well as the op asks about the 4701 being replaced by a new model, and the video had information on the “L4702” which is the updated L4701, I thought that this video would answer the question. You are correct that there isn’t any mention of the elusive L4802. My apologies. .The OP post references the Kubota l4802.

Those left side mounted brakes are far superior to the right side mounted ones.I just don't want to run out and buy a 4701, just for an upgraded model to come out a month later.

My L4701 has left side brakes. And I agree, I don’t think I’d buy a machine with hst and brakes both on right. Those left side mounted brakes are far superior to the right side mounted ones.
I know whatcha mean. I’ll say I’m happy with my L4701. Nothing about it bothers me me to the point I really wish it were different.I just don't want to run out and buy a 4701, just for an upgraded model to come out a month later.
First time I've ever seen one. Thanks. Here's a sneak peak of a L4802 at Kubota.
