Thanks for the info. I'm curious because I'm new to owning an EA Wicked 55 grapple and after it's last use have it stored in the open position, face down, cylinders retracted, on a pallet just as it was shipped.
I want to add a rear view mirror in the cab of the M. I find myself using the mirror in the MX cab a lot.
I use my rear-view a lot for non-critical backing where I just want to be sure nothing is behind me or backing up long distances where I don't want to crane my neck around for that long.

Get as big a display as you can stand in your cab it helps the skid steer came with a 7" display and it's really small but it does help a lot too.

Do you mean a rear view camera and display? I need to get the camera hooked up on my truck first. Such a pain hooking up to trailers without a rear camera. I know, I know ... folks have done it for decades without a camera, but it's just so much easier when you can see the ball and receiver.

Pressure on the gate in either direction is pressure on the opposite side of the cylinder. If it's wide open, and something's trying to open it more, it will apply pressure to the head end of the cylinder. If something's trying to close it (the weight of the gate) then the pressure will be on the rod end. Just loosen the JIC connection at the Tee, and you might lose a thimble full of fluid, teaspoon full at the max, to relieve the pressure enought to allow the poppet to be pressed in. Don't forget to tighten the JIC fitting back up, or you'll see that very quickly.

I was admiring your Harbor Freight Quick Hitch. If you want to see something that will make it much friendlier to use, have a look at THESE PHOTOS . I have an LX-2610SU, which is a much higher platform on a larger tractor, so getting on and off the tractor is a bit more work than your lil' fella. My HF Quick Hitch practically guides itself into place now. Getting rid of the sharp corners on those hooks made a huge difference. I have the telescoping and pinned stabilizers, too. That makes a huge difference too. Pull one hair-pin and one positioning pin on one side, and bingo, I can swing the arms like I want. No turnbuckles, no set up time. I marked which holes I need to use for Cat 0 and Cat 1 attachments so swapping between sizes is a blink.
