Dang!!! That's rough. I can walk into any gun store in the state, pick out what I want. Grab as much ammo as they will sell me. Hand them my CC permit and it cuts the paperwork by 3/4. Bypasses the background check as well.
They just need to note my permit number on the paperwork.
Out the door in about 15 minutes. If you don't have a CC permit, it takes about an hour for the background check and all the paperwork to be done for a firearm purchase. Then your out the door. No 10 day waiting period
You must also pass a proficiency exam. 10 nails, if you hit your thumb twice you fail.
