I just have to wonder how so many Ds know the supposedly R daily conspiracy stories when the Rs don't.

I do know the first time I found out there was a QAnon a D talked about it. Fringes exist for Ds and Rs ... just ignore them like the rest of us do.

I’m an independent and despise the radical right and left wings of both parties. The only difference is there are still a few centrist D party members. The R party excommunicated centrists, calling them Rinos. Radicalism is poisoning our country.

My thought is if an R regularly votes with the Ds on controversial bills then they are a RINO. Note: I'm not saying Rs can't ever vote in a bipartisan manner, but to me, bipartisan means a significant number of both parties voted for it. Not just a few.

I agree Radicals aren't good for the country, but we might disagree with who is "moderate or center".

Everything you and I buy, is transported at some point by a vehicle that runs on diesel. So the cost of everything is fixing to go up even more. Freight is already outrageously high. UPS/Fedex/DHL is already higher'n a cat's back and it will continue to rise. Truck freight? LOL! A 44" pallet with nothing on it going LTL is going to be $500. Aint' far from it now. I just shipped a Polaris engine across the country and that 115lb package weight was right at $447. That was the least expensive quote. In 2020 when I started in this business, it as about $90, same package, same engine, same weight. Shipped a windshield today, they're plastic and packaged well. But it's a big box, weighs about 45lbs. In 2020, it as about $43. Today, $270.

Your leaders are partially to blame for it. Failed policy. Series of blunders.

The center is large: center-right (George Bush) and center-left (Bill Clinton). Obviously there is a wide range between the two, but that range represents US political traditions spanning 200+ years. In the fringes outside of that center are Bernie Sanders on the left and Rand Paul or MTG on the right. When both parties had a significant component of centrists, that’s when government worked for the American people. Bi-partisanship shouldn’t be the dirty word that many characterize it as today. Ronald Reagan and Tip O’Neil where able to work together to accomplish things for the good of our country; they would be ostracized today.

They are well seasoned vehicles if they are running a 5.9 Cummins. My 2007 truck with 5.9 was the last year they made those. The motor change happened mid 2007.

In CT & MA, the local UPS delivery trucks switched over to gasoline, and the tractor-trailers are all still diesel. I think UPS shuffled the diesel delivery trucks to locations where the diesel was less expensive. We have some of the highest fuel taxes in the Northeast.

Conversely, a person needn't be deity to be an effective and good 'leader' of men (fallible as we all are).

Lest this conversation veer off a direction that will get this thread locked, suffice to say, in all things we should make informed and careful decisions. Sadly, this is not practiced by many.
