Pushing rear attachments, specifically a landscape rake?

I have the Land Pride landscape rake and it will not turn 180, but I wish it could, as for the tines they are spring steel so going backwards should be no issue at all. Also I pull a 60 inch finish mower which should act similar to a rotary cutter when going backwards(movement not cutting ability) and that is one of the things I like about it

Yeah, I could lift the cutter before backing up. But it's a little bit like using a vacuum cleaner, there is often a natural back and forth pattern when cutting. more pondering...

Absolutely DO NOT push attachments like a mower backwards. The wheels are only designed to turn clockwise. You need special grease for counter clockwise turning wheels.

?????? The wheels on my mower deck rotate 360 degrees and mows just fine when pushed.
I use the special grease located next to my left handed monkey wrench.

Don't forget to only change your blinker fluid the first Sunday after a full moon.

The synthetic blend has a bad habit of forming sludge, so you should only buy the full synthetic if you don't want any intermittent blinking.
