B2601 seat issue.

Not happy with seat condition. MILSCO brand seat. Tractor 6 years old. Kept mostly covered.
May try KTAC which I retained. Any ideas.
I was able to adhere top with clamps and seems ok. Bottom is tough due to seat curve.
My plan is to glue and quickly hop in seat for a while.

I have the same tractor and seat which is five years old but the seat is still in very good shape. I’m thinking you have a seat that was not healthy from the factory. Hope Ktac helps you out

Gorilla glue would probably hold it together but it foams and is quite messy. If you try the gorilla glue do not sit on it as it will foam up and wreck your pants. Maybe put some bricks on the seat or use clamps of some sort. I use it regularly in difficult situations. Good luck.

I have a 7040 but last year, I pulled the seat and took it to a upholstery shop that does furniture and autos. The recovered the seat with a much better material and I have been very happy with the outcome. It didn’t cost that much (around $100) and came with a warranty on labor and material. Much cheaper that a new seat.

Does your 7040 have a two piece seat? I haven't found anyone to recover a one piece molded seat.

Yes. My seat is a two piece. hopefully You can find one that can do it.
