Just let the dealer do whatever they think it will take to repair the machine. You don't even want to suggest anything that might give them the impression that you are willing to accept anything other than a like new repair. If you are unhappy with it after the repair, let me know because I am looking for a used machine that was well cared for without 10,000 hours on it.Not much. A limb fell on it and penetrated the hood at the hinge pivot and bent that bracket that is welded to the frame so they are figuring a new frame. It also broke the dash and pushed the glove box out. RTV x1140, 2 1/2 years old, 170 hours and 700 miles. Parts so to be available.
Service parts are readily available, they just can't seem to assemble new ones. What did you do to possibly total it? How old and how many hours and miles on it will be a determining factor also. The availability of new units is slow coming into the dealers, and I'll bet that even repair parts are also in short supply.
