OP here. Thank you to everyone for your advice. Having never had a well system before, I appreciate everyone's knowledge.
Last year when we bought the home, water was crystal clear. Put it in a glass, crystal clear. There is no water filter system.
Winterized the house over winter.
Returned in April, re-energized the water system. No problems. No air in the lines, no sputtering, clear water.
Last month, it starts sputtering air on occasion. Water is now cloudy in a glass of water but it slowly clears. I didn't pay attention if the water in a glass cleared from top down or vice versa.
Will be back home there in a day. Will see what's up because I'll have a professional come out and inspect/ repair.
The date on the water heater is 1987. It's going to be replaced. Due to the general visual condition of the well cap, I'm guessing that it's a 1987 pump in the well.
This home used to be only a hunters retreat. Used only a few months of the year. Now it's our full time home. Moving in permanently now.
Kind of a money pit, but water isn't something I will cut corners on.
Thanks again
Edit: I looked online for my well information, found my neighbors well information but nothing about my well. I would think that a well professional can find the history of my well.
