What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I have to do something similar for mine. I also need to build up a couple pallets to put the mower decks on so I can put them on shelves. I could use something like that for my backhoe, once it is off the tractor it sits wherever I placed it and only way to move it if in the way is put it back on the tractor.

Did you ever have one of those small tasks that somehow acquired 'project creep'?
I have a small area on the north side of our house that I wanted to replant grass in. It hasn't been touched in 30 years.
It's only about 40 x100 so I planned on ripping it with the box blade then use the tiller. Part A was no problem. The BB ripped up the ground nicely. I just wasn't prepared for all the potatoes is would bring up.

Using the tiller presented a problem. The space is small bordered by the house with AC units sitting there, a fence and a drop off into the woods (artificial wall I built when the grape arbor was there). There is only one 'open' end. Ok will only use tiller where I can reach without destroying anything.

Then I thought this is the time to replace my conduit line that goes from the house into the woods for my critter cameras and low voltage lighting. So... it may not be a backhoe but its a whole lot better than a shovel!

The stump bucket has turned into a very used implement. Of course trenching / replacing the cables now has doubled the scope of the job.

that often happens to me, start doing a simple task that turns into a multi-day project. Need to stop creating work for myself.

I bought shelving for the barn. Industrial grade, 2000# per shelf capacity. The parts are still stacked against a wall because of the work required to clear the area I plan to put the shelves.

I have the same stressful clutter problems here. If it's good, it needs to be kept out of the weather. That results in a tight pack! It's on my to do list before the snow flies again.

I removed my bow stands today (about 4-5 months late). I’ve been busy with a project (govt agency involved) & have been pushing to get finished. The stands (3 of them) are fine & will be stored until Sept.

pretty simple...heavy duty U-Haul dolly or harbor freight castors.

I tried that once...once. LOL Pushed the damned thing into the dirt at the back of the barn trying to line up to the subframe and nearly dumped it over. WIll need locking wheels to keep that from happening. The woods comes up from the bottom into the notches, and then slides into slots. If it is off just a little bit the tractor will push it, and wow did those wheels roll nicely. Been storing it on the pallet it came on.

Ugh. Went to mow my dad's lawn. I used my Ferris while my brother used dad's BX. I brought fuel but my brother said it was already full so he put the can back in my truck bed. The BX ran for about 2 minutes then didn't. Would crank but not start. Fuel gauge said full. Hmm, last time I used it it was just under a quarter tank. Somebody filled it WITH GAS.
So ... what I did with dad's Kubota was drag it onto a trailer and take it home. Drain the tank, remove both filters, fill with diesel, pump diesel thru the lines, replace filters, prime. She fired right back up
She's gonna stay at my house until I find out who put the gas in her . While I have her, she'll be getting a good wash, and full exam.

I spent yesterday mowing trails, around my little wildlife pond and a area for a future large pond. My soil type for the most part is loamy sand and dries out quickly within a day or two after a rain. I notice with this 6ft land pride mower I eat a lot more dust and dirt than with the four foot cutter behind my B7100.
Its hard to tell the area I mowed for the large pond but it was thick with mares tail and cool season grasses. My L2501 had no problem running the cutter HP wise. As I was mowing I came across this buck watching me, his antlers are much further ahead than any of the other bucks I have spotted this summer so far.

Pulled a lilac tree out of the ground that was right up against the house. The M6060 is a tank and it took all of 5 seconds to pull it out. Not very impressive compared to some of the stumps you guys are getting out of the ground but kind of a novelty for me since I typically leave it to the wind to uproot trees.

PHD stand. I tried a couple of home made versions and didn't have good success. This is the Landpride stand and I have to say that it does make life easier.

After approximately 15 months my core aerator came in.
