Is there such a thing as a small offset flail mower that would run on a B2601?

I have a couple use cases for this.............I have a long 600'(ish) driveway and I would like to periodically cut the weeds back along the edges without having to manually hit it with the string trimmer which is a PITA. I also have a couple hills with rough cover (ie. grasses, weeds, wild flowers, etc.) that need to be maintained as I will be having a solar array installed on one hill.

A rotary cutter would work for the hills but the sides of the driveway would really require an offset to not roll into the ditch......ideally.....

I know the ditch mowers are awesome but they would cost me > $50K as I would need a tractor upgrade and that isn't happening lol (love the 2601).

Any thoughts?

You can often find used tractors with flail mowers for sale on tractorhouse.com often priced relatively inexpensively. Type flail under keyword. Might be worth a look.

If you want an inexpensive solution that will probably last (a cheap flail that is junk within a couple of years is no bargain - I have no knowledge about the quality of the EMSD-40), you might want to look at Sabre Samurai (less than 2K, if you already have a 3rd function or diverter). You might also be able to reach much further using the FEL versus an offset on the 3PT.

I have a Del Morino Centurion Super 158 that's made in Italy and looks a lot like that EMSD-40 but cost three times as much. The Del Morino is a slick mower but that Chinese made EMSD might be slick too if it was reverse engineered properly.
