I'm considering tieing & taping a moving blanket over the front facing window. Thoughts?
That's a good idea but you might want to extend the blanket into the cab and close the doors on it to hold it in place. If the blanket gets loose and starts flapping around it can do some damage. Also, make sure you get the mirrors set up so that they don't swing around and break glass. I rotated the mirrors such that they were like rudders with the idea that they'd stay put in 70mph wind.

I would only buy a trailer if you will need it after you get the tractor home. Otherwise shipping it should be cheaper. I built a dual axel trailer for my B7100. The 6100 are light but it is nice to have an extra tire on each side if one fails.
