So, I heard a sudden raspy/clacking noise coming from my B8200. I shut it down and long story short I suspected the water pump bearing was shot as it was wobbly. Replaced it but the noise is still there. This is a 1990 B8200 HST-D 4wd with a BF 350 loader and a 3PH woods BH750. My FEL seems to work fine and the 3PH still has some lift to it, though the BH is mounted so hard to see the full swing of things there. My Hydraulic fluid was changed in the fall using UDT 2 and levels are still holding (though i just noticed a drip at my fel contoller hose the same day the noise occurred). The engine oil was changed twice after i bought this is in the fall using shell rotella T-6 5W 30 and the levels are still holding. Of course the filters (including the large suction screen filter) were replaced when the fluid changes happened. I am hoping this is a cavitation noise due to air in the lines...but something tells me that life is not that easy. Bear with me as I am not by any means a mechanic, but you all have helped me through a few things and i am learning as I go.
