Got a beef stew started. 👍👍👍👍 seasoning is soy sauce, worchestershire sauce, brown gravy, and crushed garlic, couple cups of water, and a couple table spoons of cornstarch as a thickener.

I'll add taters and carrots around 12:30 😁😁😁

also got some chili sauce going

I do a "Texas Hot" sauce here. Looks similar. Common on hot dogs up here, and many variations of the sauce.

Good enough to sell commercially, along with my Chicken Wing Sauce.

Probably will never do either, but cool to think about.

...along with my Chicken Wing Sauce...
Is this an old family top secret recipe? I normally just start with Frank's Red Hot Chicken wing sauce and beef it up with more butter, garlic and cracked black peppers. Works for me but would like to improve it more.

Wife can't handle too much heat, some but not a bunch.

O&T - - - Yep.

I started cooking in the restaurant biz before Buffalo wings made it down I-90 to Central NY.

I used 500#++ of chicken a week in a large hotel restaurant. I boiled wings for stock and threw them out.

I embraced hot wings big time. I started to "doctor" the Frank's sauce back then. Never wrote anything down. "Winged" it, so to speak.

About 15 years ago, my son and I made a sauce, and it was PERFECT. Unfortunately, didn't write anything down then either.....

Literally took another 5-6 years to perfect it again.

It's good....not super hot, but quite spicy. We call it "Medium."

Made this last night to eat while we were watching the Barrett-Jackson car auction. I never had eaten Potato Skins until I had them @ TGI Friday`s around 1979-80 with my girlfriend/ now wife. Never ate them again until I made them at home about 5-6 years ago. Don`t know why I never thought about fixing them because they are awesome. I always grill or cook the shrimp on my griddle, but I cooked these shrimp in the oven under the broiler and was surprised at how good they still tasted and much easier to cook. The homemade Buttermilk Ranch dressing is the bomb and better than anything that comes from the store. My wife said I could make this about once a week. Enjoy.

Basque oxtail stew. As far as I could tell the only thing that differentiated it from regular oxtail stew was a butter flour roux added at the end to thicken the sauce. Very tasty but butter in addition to the fat in the meat might be overkill. Cleanup done under supervision. I have to lock her in the bedroom while actually cooking.

I think I ll just call for a pizza later
It's been interesting since we sold up and moved. We are on a new street that was just added to Google.

Delivery drivers have been showing up to our place for a couple weeks now trying to give us our neighbors orders 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Finally figured out what was going on after having one driver trying to give us groceries yesterday afternoon. Then a door dash driver tried delivering wings about 9:30pm last night. Both drivers said the same thing, that Google is dropping them at our place. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂😂

After finding out what the house number was, I was able to direct them pretty close within a couple houses. Apparently any odd number address for our street gets directed to our place 🤣😂🤣🤣🤣

We've been honest so far with the drivers. But if someone shows up with some cold stone creamery, i'll probably just say thank you and accept the order 🙄🙄🙄🙄😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂

We actually had pizza delivered last night. Local place started delivering, and we’re within their area. Went almost 60 years where that wasn’t an option.

We’re having chicken riggies today. Local to Utica, New York. Spicy chicken and tomato/cream sauce over rigatoni.

Geez - - both the tamales and oxtail stew look good. (y)(y)

We’ve been below 0 degrees F quite a bit lately.
