I'm okay with ratcheting wrenches for now. Couple smaller-sized sets; one is not-so-good.

But I'll remember that for a larger ratcheting set!

You guys will know - - - will these kinda take the place of a good adjustable wrench in some places?

Seem to be a better option just playing with them...

I'm missing a couple of my old stand-by Crescent wrenches...my son may have something to do with that...
Another must have for the tool box from snap-on. They are pricey but handy as the dickens.

Combination adjustable/ pipe wrench.

Part number as shown is PWZ1. I have the 1 and 2. They are my most goto set of pliers when I need to put some mojo on something. Great for pipe fittings, and bolts with rounded off heads. Removing studs, ect...

They bite on and grip extremely well.

Found this in the outbuilding Grandad used for grain. Not sure what he used it for. There was a little slip of paper inside with what looked like some sort of recipe on it - something about 50# of sugar,,,,,

Does an old Sears and Roebuck hay rack count? We mowed a ditch and was working along a fence line and found a rack half buried. It took both of our tractors to get it out.

After we got it freed up, I pulled it up close to the barns where dad looked over it. Sadly, the years of being left out in the weather destroyed it. We don't know if grandma or grandpa parked it there. In the latter part of their lives, both were suffering from dementia and grandma got really good at hiding things before we moved her in with my parents.

If that doesn't count I have a few barns full of old tools, just need to get some picture.
Love the saw’s!! I have quite a few myself including my Grandfathers 2 man crosscut. My Dad and I used it a lot when I was 12 years old and on up into my 20’s. I was so happy when he bought his Stihl chainsaw. We had some great bonding times in those woods and a serious workout with that crosscut. He will be 84 January 4th.

Here are some of mine. Not all antiques, but you don't see them anymore.

My understanding is that Ford made their own tools to supply their factories and dealerships. Ford didn't have too many parts suppliers in their early days
That is correct, I have a full set of them for a Model A

I was over at the inlaws pumping out 5 days of rainwater from their abandoned in-ground diving pool, and while waiting I poked around in the metal shed out back. I found a Proto 3/4" spud wrench partially buried in the dirt floor. MIL said I could have it. Took it home, straightened the bent tail, wire brushed, sanded, and scotch-brighted the rust off, then applied 3 coats of Black Oxide. Turned out pretty nice. :)

I'm named after my paternal grandfather b. 1911- d. 1988.

He was as straight and nice as the day is long....

He had these on the farm. I've posted these somewhere here before.

His 12 oz. Estwing rip hammer. Only hammer I knew him to use.

I can see/feel his grip in the leather handle. That's driven more fence staples than I can imagine.

To feed cows, I used the claws to cut bailing twine before I was allowed to carry a jack knife. I was 4 or so. At 5 I had a jack knife (Barlow?, grandpa always had a Barlow, and I think he bought it for me), but had to leave it on the milk can cooler. By 6 or so, I could carry it in my pocket....

He had a nice S-K 1/2" drive socket set. Never recall the box having any paint on it, and I'm crowding 60 hard. The deep well sockets didn't come with the set, but some are S-K. The local Agway Feed Store sold S-K.

No idea how old, but it was a veteran of many battles on the farm.

Not old, but kinda neat. I call it a Redneck Gas Gauge.

I have a friend that makes fuel sticks for Steiner Tractor. This is one of the first 3 made for a Minneapolis Moline ZA.

He made it from my tank measurement. He’s made thousands for Steiner in many makes/models. This was his first venture into MM after he saw my moline in the driveway this past summer.

First went to my Dad. I’ll keep one, and give the third to my son.

I have one somewhere. Haven't used it since I got a laser tach.
Never used it as a tach, but used to use it for vehicle vibration diagnostics. These kids I work with today are spoiled with the EVA…now if they only knew how to use it 🤣

Dad has some old meters he used, none this old I don’t believe. He was in HVAC for 25+ years, his name was also Roger.
That’s interesting and cool. I started in the HVAC industry in 1980, pretty much straight out of high school. Never really met or heard of other guys with my name until the last several years I seem to be meeting quite a few. Some of the older meters are very interesting.

Who knows what this is?
That is an engine combustion testing device and it is capable of testing engine compression by comparing cylinders. That is much newer than the one that I had used back in the late 1960's. Mine was analog, not digital, and a whole lot larger in both height, length, and depth.
