I decided to put this in its own thread since the one I had previously been replying to was for a B2551 and I didn't want to confuse anyone since I have a B2660 and the part numbers may not be the same.
Okay, here's what I found. I may have located a Weasler equivalent replacement for the Kubota 70050-93921 snowblower yoke.
https://www.messicks.com/ku/84490 - $104.29
From my research, I believe that this is a 0.98" 10 spline shaft with spring-lock yoke. I looked at one of the spring-lock yokes on my B2660 last night and verified that it is indeed a 10 spline unit. I didn't have my digital caliper with me so I couldn't verify the shaft diameter. The u-joint cap bore appears to be 31/32".
If my suppositions are correct, then this should work at 1/3 the price:
https://www.paulbparts.com/product/weasler-domestic-tractor-yoke-6-series-spring-lok-98-10-spline - $34.99
https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_1050610 - $43.99
Standard U-joint
https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_2000600 - $17.99
Extended lubrication U-joint
https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_2010600 - $29.99
Although paulbparts shows add-on u-joints at $11 for the regular and $20 for the extended lubrication Weasler joints.
https://www.paulbparts.com/product/weasler-pto-cross-bearing-kit-north-american-6-series/
So it would be cheaper in the end just to order everything from there as long as shipping isn't outrageous.
Can anyone verify that I'm on the right track here?
The B2660 that I purchased last summer is in very poor condition and had been left outside in the elements for many years. I am planning a complete tear down and rebuild to be able to use it next winter. I just can't stomach paying over $100 for a single yoke (and $40 for the accompanying u-joint) from Kubota. Especially when I need at least two of each and there's nothing special about them.
