Just as strong as new if not stronger with welded in bar for lights. central east iowa on a hill, some of the mowing in 4wd. chain up all 4 for snow. 5ft blade and a 5ft rear snow blower.Welcome and thanks for posting. You should fill out your profile when you get a chance
I hear you on the ROPS and the door. You have already done it and it's probably fine, but cutting or drilling ROPS compromises its integrity according to the factory & those " in the know" i.e. not me .
I am in a very hilly area in PA (not sure about your part of iowa) so I do the dance every time...
My question is what does the diff lock device do? Prevent activation?Just be careful. Theres a reason why the diff lock pedal is so small and out of the way. I like what you did with the Rops! It looks stock!
Agree, providing the welding was as good as factory welds.Just as strong as new if not stronger with welded in bar for lights.
can step on it and not slide off.My question is what does the diff lock device do? Prevent activation?
six inches or a new garage door? take the six.Agree, providing the welding was as good as factory welds.
A higher ROPS would work better to prevent a tip over from turning into a roll over, but how much difference would 6 inches make? Don't know.
Myself, I would not sweat it.
I see it now.can step on it and not slide off.
1"x"2" tube is what the step is welded to, bolts are hide under mat. makes it strong to stand on.I see it now.
It looked like the square tubing was sitting on the floor mat.
Obviously if it works, the hole in the floorboard must be square and the tubing must slide through the hole as you apply down pressure...
mostly just move empty trailer with it, when mowing. driving tractor since I was 4 and still alive must of learned something.Be very careful pulling a trailer from the hitch instead of drawbar. That’s how wheelies happen.
What I was referring to was the differential lock device you fabricated, not the step. Step looked good.1"x"2" tube is what the step is welded to, bolts are hide under mat. makes it strong to stand on.
easy to step on and not slide off. snowy boots...What I was referring to was the differential lock device you fabricated, not the step. Step looked good.
The piece of square tubing looked to me like it would disable the diff lock pedal.
So, what does that piece of square tubing over the diff lock pedal actually do? I am probably missing something simple...thought I saw the answer, but now not sure.
Any more pics of the. Ike with the side car?dif lock add, front rcvr hitch, foot step, 3 point rcvr combo hitch and last cut 5" off rops and added plate for lights. now clears 7ft door. View attachment 70269 View attachment 70270 View attachment 70271 View attachment 70272 View attachment 70273
