Yes the gear drive may be the difference. I have forks you my loader and have to stand just to line it up with pallet. Even when switching from bucket to fork or grabble I have to get up to see it. There no room for error. It has to be perfect to line it up. What a pain in the ass. Lol Rocky
But at least it doesn’t shut down.

I bought a back up camera to try and put somewhere where I can see too. Maybe on the front guard with a hoop or a large 2 hole conduit clamp to protect it. Just takes time in the garage to figure it out! I have one on my 8N to see the 3 pt hitch area so I could keep track of logs on the forks when traveling in the past. The kubota was supposed to be the cure for for all that, but I kept the 8n too!

Mine is nearly identical to yours. Yes the gear models have the safety on the range selector, hst have the safety in the hst pedal. For the few times I need to stand up and move the tractor I will take a zip tie and tie the switch under the seat down, then just cut it when Im done.

It can be a little awkward though standing up and trying to use the clutch and loader at the same time 😁

I had to load it up tonight so I figured I would get you a pic. I just tie it down to the wiring harness under it. It doesn’t need to be pulled very tight.

Edit:don’t mind the dirt 😂

Mine doesn't get washed and waxed, I did pressure wash it last week for the second time in 90 hours,
I just put it away with a bunch of clay soil stuck in and on the front bucket! Thanks for the picture of the switch too!

Yeah that’s a great idea. I think I’ll look for one to Mount on front of tractor somewhere. Thanks Bill 👍

I had to search for one that could let you reverse the image for front use. Some of them have exposed green and white wires to clip that also turn off the colored guide lines.
