Have a cat 2 implement I need to convert to cat 1. Are there cat 1 pins available that have the cat2 size thread?

Usually the pins go through a plain bore in the implement and are secured with nuts. If that is the case just bush a Cat 1 pin up to Cat 2 hole size and secure with a Cat 1 nut.

A machine shop could turn down the cat2 pin to cat1 size

Understood, just not a fan of using bushings in a high stress area. This for the cat 2 size Titan ballast box, so a lot of weight.

I like the turn down in a lathe approach, just thought there might be pins manufactured that way.

hmm... 'lot of weight'.... will your tractor and liftarms, etc. handle the 'lot of weight' ?
if the smaller pins do break, replace arms with CAT 2 arms ?

The L4060hstc 3-point lift capacity at 24 in. behind lift point is 2760 pounds so my 'Lot of weight' (around 1200 pounds) should be well within prescribed design parameters.

I do like you suggestion about the Cat 2 arms, though.(y)
